My name is Nina S. Gooden and I have worn many different hats while establishing my professional history. I’ve worked with start-up game companies, as well as national non-profits. During my time as a content, marketing, and web development manager, I’ve gained a wide variety of skills.
Those skills have allowed me to work on my web development skills, even while serving as Director of Marketing for the United Way. In the same way, I have been able to hone my marketing abilities while serving as the Managing Editor for various publishing companies.
In the past ten years, I have continued to work on maintaining industry-standard knowledge of web development, marketing, and content management practices. I am confident in my skills in all three subjects and have used each to create measurable results in my work history.
Here are just a few of the projects I've completed lately. Many of these images are promotional collateral, created or commissioned by authors I've worked with, so make sure to give them love!

Content is my bread and butter, but that looks different for each client. In order to help your content stand out, I focus on these three areas of expertise:
I am dedicated to seeing content through its entire life cycle, in addition to creating content for professional use.
I work extensively with the publishing industry, especially editing multi-length manuscripts. I’ve worked on projects in all genres and sub-genres—from non-fiction to manga. I specialize in “out-of-the-box” Romance and Sci-Fi/Fantasy, but thanks to my eclectic work history, I’m well-qualified to produce high-quality copy- and content-edits for just about any kind of material.
Digital Marketing and Communications
I am proficient in many of the most commonly used marketing automation tools. I have a proven track record of setting and reaching revenue goals, based on carefully constructed data-driven campaigns. I am as familiar with event management as I am coordinating a scaled A/B test. In the past, I have successfully managed budgetary and administrative roles in various companies, establishing the skills needed to head entire departments smoothly.

Design and Development
While web design and development has rarely been the focus of my career, I have always been interested in coding and design. I have utilized these skills in my careers at every chance. Due to my skills, I have had the pleasure of creating a wide-array of design collateral for various marketing ventures. In addition, I have volunteered extensively in positions that provided me the chance to further these abilities and test the latest and greatest in language skills.
